STC INSISO Announces Senior Leadership Changes as the Company Prepares for Rapid Business Growth

Aberdeen-headquartered problem-solving company, STC INSISO has announced a further change to its executive leadership team as it prepares for accelerated business growth in 2023. Steve Holmes has transitioned to the role of Chief Operating Officer following his two-year tenure as Chief Performance Officer.

The change was triggered as former Chief Operating Officer, Alan Smith, moved into the newly created role of Head of Investigations at the end of 2022, resulting in a rebalancing of responsibilities across the executive leadership team.

Mark Rushton, CEO at STC INSISO said, “Moving into 2023, we are excited about what lies ahead for STC INSISO.

Steve’s wealth of experience made him the obvious choice for the role of Chief Operating Officer, which will see him undertaking more responsibilities in the day-to-day running of the business and taking accountability for our People and Investigation workstreams.”

Prior to STC INSISO, Steve spent 13 years in senior health and safety roles within the oil and gas, rail, utilities, and waste management sectors. In his new position, he will be heavily involved in developing the company’s new product and service lines as well as upscaling current offerings.

Steve said, “There is a wealth of opportunities available for STC INSISO to expand our products and services, and my main focus will be on growing COMET – our flagship root cause analysis tool, as well as our learning and development offerings. I look forward to embarking on a more strategic role, allowing me to play a large part in helping the business meet its aspirations.”

COMET is widely utilised and trusted across numerous industries including oil and gas, construction, marine

and utilities. Its unique methodology generates high quality input data to identify systemic causes and gives users a solid foundation for making sound decisions to ensure future incident prevention.
