For high-reliability offshore and subsea systems, precision and stability under extreme conditions are essential. Rhopoint Components offers two specialist solutions from Caddock Electronics that meet the demanding requirements of high-voltage, high-temperature environments: the TG Series precision high voltage resistors and the MS Series high voltage power film resistors.

Caddock TG Series: Precision for Demanding High-Voltage Systems:

Engineered with Caddock’s proprietary Tetrinox® resistance film technology, the TG Series delivers excellent performance where long-term stability and precision are critical. These resistors combine a low temperature coefficient (TCR) of ±25 ppm/°C with continuous operating voltages up to 30 kV - extendable by 60% with the optional “-15” rating.

With a resistance range from 25 kΩ to 1,000 MΩ and tight tolerance options down to ±0.1%, the TG Series is well-suited to high-accuracy systems in medical imaging, semiconductor manufacturing, scientific instrumentation, and high-voltage test equipment.

Key specifications:

Operating temperature: -55°C to +125°C.

Load life stability: 0.25% per 1,000 hours.

Applications:

X-ray systems, electron microscopes, TWT power supplies, geophysical instruments.

Caddock MS Series: Robust Power Film Resistors for High-Temperature Applications:

Designed for use in harsh environments, the MS Series features Micronox® resistance films fired directly onto a ceramic core for superior thermal performance. These axial-lead, high-voltage resistors are capable of operating up to +275°C and withstand voltages up to 6000V.

With power ratings up to 22W at +25°C, and resistance values from 20Ω to 30MΩ, the MS Series is ideal for offshore power systems, rugged industrial applications, and non-inductive high-voltage circuits.
