High Hazard Industry Experts To Gather In Aberdeen For First Of Its Kind Event

Aberdeen is set to play host to an industry first event that will bring together experts from across high hazard industries to showcase the sector’s potential to deliver reduced environmental impact through innovation and technology.

The inaugural Enviro Risk Exchange: Creating Resilience in Hazardous Industries, organised by the E-Reps Network, is expected to attract upwards of 200 industry delegates who will gather at the city’s premier event venue, the P&J Live, in October 2024.

The one-day conference and exhibition will provide a platform for those working across the hazardous industries value chain to share best practice in effective risk management and showcase business strategies, technologies, products and services needed to safely meet sustainability targets.

The conference will foster collaboration between operators, regulators, industry groups and NGO’s, the workforce and supply chain from companies operating in the energy industry, utilities, manufacturing, as well as the chemicals and distilled spirits sectors.

Event Director and Founder, Jill Butler-Rennie, is an Environmental Engineer with a career spanning over 20 years working in high hazard industries, who says more needs to be done to embrace new initiatives, “When it comes to hazardous industries, there has never been a better time to exchange our expertise.

“It’s vital that industry leaders and decision makers stay informed about emerging trends and initiatives and, as innovation evolves, it’s time for a new approach.

“Enviro Risk Exchange has been designed as a catalyst for knowledge sharing and will provide a unique opportunity to ignite discussions on driving down lifecycle impacts of hazardous operations.”
