Hiretech Increases Pumping and Hydraulic Offerings
Hiretech Limited has recently completed the build of several new pumping and hydraulic units as it continues investment to enhance its rental fleet and service offerings to meet evolving industry demands.
With a recent focus on investment in subsea and decommissioning rental capabilities, the company has added additional high flow jetting pumps for cohesive soil excavations and increased its high pressure pumping options to support client marine growth removal, abrasive jetting and coatings removal applications.
Additional Zone 1 electric and Zone 2 and Safe Area diesel driven hydraulic power units have also been added to the rental fleet to support increased platform based decommissioning scopes and vessel based subsea scopes, including the operation of the company’s new subsea decommissioning shears.
Keith Mackie, Managing Director, commented, “Our clients have shared their views on how we can offer further benefit through an expanded rental fleet. We have identified areas where we can enhance value through our strong technical, operational and commercial support.”
The company also continues to support clients during yard testing and trials, as innovative approaches are sought to overcome new industry challenges. A recent coatings removal yard trial for a client was supported by Hiretech skilled technicians and utilisation of Hiretech equipment including a Safe Area 600 hp jetting pump operating at 204 litres/1000 bar.
The company’s transmission and gearbox refurbishment service, which was launched in 2019, has continued to grow significantly. The department offers Allison transmission repairs, refurbishments and replacements and has recently supported drilling contractors, well service pumping contractors, a mobile crane provider and an off-road leisure application.
Hiretech has invested more than £3 million over the past two years to enhance its equipment rental and personnel offering to support hydraulics, well service, pipeline, chemical cleaning, decommissioning, subsea and renewable activities in the energy and marine industries.
