MECH-TOOL ENGINEERING LTD DELIVERS THIRD CONTRACT IN LESS THAN 12 MONTHS
One of the UK’s leading product manufacturer and global supplier of fire, blast and heat hazard solutions - Mech-Tool Engineering Ltd (MTE) – has successfully delivered its third contract in less than 12 months on behalf of a multi-disciplined service and product provider to the energy industries based in Kuala-Lumpur.
Commissioned by Jurunature, MTE has designed and engineered from its fabrication facilities in Teesside, a series of its globally recognised Heat Shields for two major oil and gas projects. The manufacturing and delivery of the Heat Shields for all projects was subsequently completed from the company’s extensive facilities in Korea.
Heat Shield Cladding Systems are designed to protect personnel and equipment against the effects of radiant heat and adverse environmental situations including offshore fields in extreme arctic conditions.
Most recently MTE completed a full turnkey solution from design and engineering right through to manufacturing and delivering of its heat shields that have since been deployed on the platforms of East Belumut, located approximately 160 miles offshore Peninsular Malaysia submerged in 240 feet of water. This was completed in only a matter of eight weeks.
This followed on from the company providing a full turnkey service successfully delivering Heat Shields for Duyong Gas oilfield located approximately 220km east of Peninsular Malaysia on behalf of Jurunature earlier this year.
