English Braids
SK99, the higher grade of Dyneema is associated for the reduction in creep (the permanent elongation, under load, over time) within industries where precision matters. However, the long-term benefits of reduced creep, have started to be appreciated by many other industry professionals. In fact, it is the extended resistance to creep that is delivering cost savings through longer life cycles in use. Up until now this has been viewed as a beneficial bi-product rather than a key selling point.
English Braids are looking to work closely with the fibre manufacturer, DSM Dyneema, to help justify the business case for the change of fibre to SK99 to become a standard product.
