V-TES Becomes Global Wind Organisation Certified, Training to the Highest of Electrical Standards
Striving to excel in the specialist electrical engineering services they provide, V-TES has set out a new vision, which encompasses the energy transition and allows for the supply of services to the world of alternative energy.
Continuing to invest in development and knowledge across the business, the engineering team has recently completed the GWO course via Maersk Training centre. All V-TES Engineers are already fully Oil & Gas ‘BOSIET’ certified, making for a natural progression into the offshore wind sector.
To coincide with the GWO training, they have also increased their high voltage jointing and termination services from
33kV to 66kV. This provides crucial knowledge and experience when dealing with the exceptionally high voltage power supplies experienced in offshore windfarms.
On-going training and development are vital to the success of V-TES, therefore they are utilising their in-house HV training bay to ensure jointing & terminating techniques are constantly put under scrutiny by their senior HV experts.
