UK Process Filter Manufacturer In Borneo

Process filters and housings made in the UK were on display at a major energy sector conference and expo in Borneo.
Senior regional representatives from Amazon Filters highlighted the innovations, operational efficiencies and sustainability to be gained from the products when they met attendees at the Sabah Oil, Gas & Energy Conference & Exhibition.
The event, now in its 13th year took place at Kota Kinabalu in the island’s Malaysian state on 25 and 26 June 2026, brought together policy makers, industry leaders, investors, tech providers and service companies.
Amazon Filters’ attendance follows the firm’s presence at the Petrochemical and Refining Congress Europe, held in Amsterdam in May, and the Offshore Technology Conference OTC Asia which took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in April.
As at OTC, Amazon Filters partnered with Southeast Asia regional distributor Diamond Offshore, a Bumiputera company and Petronas-registered vendor.
Using Malaysian case studies, the pair’s team on Booth 131 demonstrated how products such as meltblown VisClear II and Nylon HFC SupaPleat filters can protect catalyst beds while dramatically improving filtrate quality and operational lifetimes.
Mohamed Nizam Mohamed Hanifa, Amazon Filters’ Kuala Lumpur-based Business Development Manager for Southeast Asia, said: “We shared learnings from practical examples, in both naphtha and diesel hydrotreating, that show the benefits of robust and cost-efficient filtration.”
The theme of this year’s Sabah conference was ‘Fuelling the future: Driving energy innovation for sustainable growth’.
Among other energy sector conferences and expos this year, Amazon Filters will exhibit at Oil and Gas Asia in September in Kuala Lumpur and OGET (Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Technology) in Thailand in October.
