Elmeridge Cables Limited Supply Another Bespoke Product
Elmeridge Cables Limited are pleased to announce that we have recently supplied another satisfied European customer in the subsea market.
We produced a combined power and signal cable, with two 2.5mm2 power conductors and a screened twisted pair of 0.50mm2 conductors for data transmission.
With an outer jacket of our own ‘Supreme Polyurethane’, the cable is also abrasion, UV and hydrolysis resistant and therefore perfect for long-term submersion in the arduous underwater marine and offshore environment.
Each length of 240 metres was fitted with Kevlar cable stockings (also produced and sold by Elmeridge Cables Limited) for strain relief, terminated with the customer’s preferred SubConn connectors and spooled onto special drums which allowed easy access to each end of the cable to enable immediate deployment from a vessel at sea.
Delivery was made to the port of Nice in southern France, direct to the end-user. Our ability to deliver preterminated cables to exact lengths has saved time and reduced costs for our customers worldwide.
Elmeridge Cables Limited were established in 1987 and have been producing special cables for the marine, offshore and underwater environment for well over three decades.
