The Aberdeen Service Centre contains a state-of-the-art workshop and pump hydro-test facility, together with instant digital access to thousands of technical engineering drawings from the ClydeUnion Pumps archives: facilitating the provision of comprehensive technical solutions. Services include strip & inspection, pump overhauls, motor maintenance, upgrades & re‑rates and balancing, as well as third party pump and parts re-engineering. A Web Link Camera System allows instant visual access to pump equipment for the end user’s team, whether onshore or offshore. It also allows the customer to witness inspections from any location, affording time and travel cost savings.
Minimal downtime is assured using the Centre’s 24-7/365 emergency field service response team. On‑site machining facilities are also on hand should any adjustments or bespoke manufacturing be required.
The Centre’s permanent team of qualified engineers, technicians and offshore service engineers can also add valuable knowledge and expertise to the customer’s inhouse resources: improving maintenance regimes, quality procedures and equipment reliability. Services range from contract compliance (KPI, QPR, FPAL, HSEQ) to tailored pump training sessions and technical assistance.
