NORTH-EAST WELL MANAGEMENT FIRM APPOINTS COO IN AUSTRALIA

An Aberdeen-based well engineering and project management company has appointed a Chief Operating Officer at its Australian base.

Zenith Energy, which was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Aberdeen, established Zenith Energy Australia in the second half of 2017 and appointed Tom Terris as COO, to manage its Australian operations.

Zenith Energy Australia, which also has an office in Abu Dhabi, provides specialist expertise for the complete well life cycle from the conceptual design phases through to field development planning, well operations, well intervention and well abandonments.

During 2017, Zenith expanded its client base and successfully completed work in the UK, Egypt, Italy and Equatorial Guinea for new and existing clients. Today the firm works with 37 clients in 15 countries.

Tom brings more than 13 years of management experience to the role, previously working for a major name in the industry in Australia as Vice President of its Asia Pacific division where he headed its well management, subsea and consultancy.

In his role at Zenith, he will manage all aspects of the Australian business unit, including tendering for well management and consultancy projects, business presentations and client and consultant meetings.
