Already well-established in the UK renewable energy and subsea markets, nkt cables has an excellent reputation for technology, innovation, manufacturing and project performance. The target is to expand significantly in the offshore renewable energy market.
The Role:
Take a leading part in the expansion of nkt cable's offshore cable system business. Build a personal and corporate network throughout the key players in the sector. Help determine future strategy and drive its achievement by on-the-ground representation and leadership. Report, advise, act at all stages throughout the tendering process. Work as an influential member of the Company’s multinational business development team. Become nkt’s ambassador to the UK offshore renewable energy industry.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience and a respected reputation in the renewable energy market is essential and will have been gained from a business development and/or sales background operating, supplying or contracting in the marine, electrical or civil sectors. A full understanding of complex contract business is required, together with a record of face-to-face negotiations and tendering procedures. Able to think strategically, but with a strong personal focus on achieving targets. The ability to communicate directly and openly at all levels, together with sensitivity to different business cultures and disciplines is absolutely critical.
